Talent Wanted - Senior Project Executive (Full-time)
1a space, founded in 1998, is an independent, non-profit making contemporary visual arts organization and exhibition venue founded by a collective of Hong Kong artworkers. Over the past twenty years, 1a space has presented and organized more than 160 exhibitions and activities. 1a space has played a vital role in developing new frontiers for the visual arts scene in Hong Kong and its representation abroad.
1a space is now inviting applications for the position of Senior Project Executive (Full-time). The position is a 3-year contract.
Responsibilities:
Manage logistics for arts program
Research and contribute to the development of program
Coordinate with media requests
Manage social media platforms for event promotions and updates
Supervise the project coordinators and to plan and implement all trainings, tours and public activities
Collect survey for the Program elevation
Compile program account reports
Participate and assist in research projects related to arts and culture
Assist in drafting academic-driven proposal and produce printed and online materials and publication
Optimist, devoted, self-motivated, detail-minded, efficient and with good communication skill
Requirements:
Degree in art history, visual art or fine art, art education, curatorial studies or museum studies, or related subject
A minimum of three years’ relevant experiences in the art and cultural sector, NGOs, charity / community project management, academics and/or social service settings
Project co-ordination experience is a must
Writing and copy-editing skills
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Good working and learning attitude, be a good team player and have the ability to work independently and under pressure
Experiences in accounting or program budgeting would be an advantage
