The “Travel to Learn in the City” - An Experimental Visual Arts Education Scheme, which is organized by 1a space and sponsored by Quality Education Fund (QEF) has been kicked off!  Art teachers from nearly 40 secondary schools will tour around various art exhibitions, museums and art spaces / galleries, as well as participate in a series of seminars and workshops conducted by university professors, museum administrators, art educators and artists.

Participating teachers and students will take part in various learning and teaching activities conducted by the organizer for enriching their artistic experience. Participants will learn how to make good use of community resources, in order to learn in a real artistic context for enhancing their abilities in art appreciation, strengthening the critical thinking skills and creativity.

An online learning platform exclusively designed for this program will also be launched to provide rooms for the participating teachers who are on behalf of their schools to share their teaching materials, as well as the related teaching resources with the public.  For the update of this program, please keep up with the latest news on 1a website.

A briefing session for disseminating the details of this program will be held in early March.  All secondary school Visual Arts teachers are welcome to register.  Please see the information below:
